Now that we have covered some basic sentences, let's work on sentences that will help in a discussion. First let's cover some questions about dieting.

"How much weight have you lost so far?"
كم الوزن المفقود حتي الان؟

"How many pounds do you want to lose?"
كم كيلو جرام فقدت؟

Remember that most countries use the kilogram system, but the United States uses the pound system.

Don't ask me why, it's just the way it is.

Here are some ways to answer these types of questions.

"I lost 6 pounds so far."
أنا فقدت 6 كيلوا جرام حتي الآن.

"My goal is to lose 10 pounds."
هدفي فقدان 10 كيلوا جرام.

"I want to be 105 pounds."
أريد أن يصبح وزني 105 كيلو جرام.
